bought domaian and mapping. How long time will it take to bee activated?

How liong time will it take to have the blog on the domain I bought through WordPress along with mapping?
There are now already 3 days from the prurchase and since the blog was directed into the new domain and still it isnt working?Can anyone tell me how loing it takes to get activated?

It looks like it tries to redirect to the new domain name, but then doesn’t. Although it can take up to 72 hours, lately it has been taking 24 or less, so there is definitely something wrong.
What is the new domain URL?
Take a look at this support document and in particular #3 where you “update the primary domain” and make sure your new domain name is selected.

I actually have the same problem. It looks like everything is setup correctly, I just don’t have the little radio button next to my domain name to be able to select it as my primary domain.
Any ideas? Thanks in advance!

“Radio button?” What button is that? Which specific URLs are we talking about? We need both, starting with http. You set the Primary Blog on your Profile page, you set the Primary Domain on the Domains Page, under Settings.

wongster.wordpress.com and I registered wongstersmusings.com on 10/30.
On the domain management page, there’s no radio button next to wongstersmusings.com for me to set it as primary. There’s just a blank space.

I am having this same problem also. I purchased the domain oxrayfarm.com on Friday October 30th. The payment has cleared the bank. I do have the radio button and have it selected as the primary domain but it will not open. I’ve tried Firefox and Safari browsers.

@wonster, thanks for letting us know that. Perhaps they have things set up so that the button will not appear until the propagation through all the domain name servers is complete – or perhaps it was a bug that staff has gotten fixed. Perhaps we will never know.
