Bought domain, cant find login details

  Hi.

  I bought the domain and cant access it. I paid $19 for the domain for a year. This is the message I get when I want to login to elanrouse.com/wp-admin.

  User riaanwatermeyer Cannot Access the Dashboard Requested

  You are logged in as “riaanwatermeyer” and do not have the necessary privileges to access the dashboard for “Elan Rouse“. If you are not “riaanwatermeyer”, please log out, and log back in with your username. If you are “riaanwatermeyer” and you need access, please ask an administrator of the site to invite you.

  I did not receive any futher information regarding the login details, so I cant access the dashboard to get support from it.

  Any help would be appreciated.

  Thanks for getting in touch. I’ve looked up that domain in our system. The domain is actually registered to a different user account, this explains the error you’re seeing too.
  
  We can help you recover access to that account so you can manage the project.
  
  The domain registration does not expire until 2024-01-30, and time is on your side.
  
  The transaction details from the purchase can be used to regain access to that account. Enter those on this form (do not post in the forums):

  Thanks for the reply. So I tried the account recovery proses, but as soon as I put in the transaction ID, it says that’s its not valid. So I haven’t been able to go through with that process. When I use the username riaanwatermeyer, with the password I have, I’m being sent to a https://wordpress.com/read/search site, which is to no help. I haven’t received any email regarding the username Elan Rouse or the password for it, therefore I can’t login to elanrouse.com/wp-admin as it gives me the same message, as mentioned above.

  This is another url I get https://elanrouse1.wordpress.com/, as you can see its not the one that I purchased.

  I will gladly supply you with the invoice of the purchase I made, thats the only email I received.

  https://elanrouse1.wordpress.com/ is the correct site. It is the underlying address of your site. If I type elanrouse.com it redirects to https://elanrouse1.wordpress.com/. It looks like you just purchased a domain rather than upgrading a free address to a paid plan so you can use the custom domain address as the prime address.

  You should be able to locate a transaction ID as per these steps here: https://en.support.wordpress.com/billing-history/#retrieving-a-transaction-id

  It’s present on the statement of the card charged.

  I’m hoping this helps to locate the transaction ID and recover the account. :)
