  Just bought domain from namecheap today. What do I do?

  Hi, @damnedopinions.

  If you’ve already purchased a domain name, you can use it with your WordPress.com site by domain mapping.

  Here in the above link, you will find steps to map your domain from namecheap.

  Getting Started With Domain Mapping, you’ll need:

  • An upgraded WordPress.com plan on your site (such as a Personal, Premium or Business plan, etc.)
  • To add a mapping subscription to your site
  • To update the name servers for the domain so they point to WordPress.com.
