Bought domain from wordpress then plugins not functionning

    i have my wordpress hosted on a server and I was able to use plugins and different themes for free.

    But when I bought a domain with wordpress today

    all my themes installed are gone and I am no longer able to use plugins

    The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Hello there, I see that you were able to cancel your domain and receive a refund.

    I think the confusion was as follows: you have a self-hosted WordPress.org site and are able to add plugins there.

    When you created your custom domain here at WordPress.com, your domain was attached to a WordPress.com-hosted site (rather than your self-hosted site), and plugins cannot be added to WordPress.com sites.

    When you tried to add plugins, you weren’t actually connected to your self-hosted WordPress.org site.

    All you needed to do was map your domain here at WordPress.com, to point to your self-hosted site. Then you could have accessed your self-hosted WordPress Dashboard to add your plugins.

    If you decide to re-register a domain here at WordPress.com, we can help you map your domain to your self-hosted site.
