bought domain, now wordpress stats count my own visits
-
How can I stop wordpress from counting my own page views when I’m logged in? This never happened until I bought a domain (through wordpress). Now, anytime I update the site and take a look, wordpress counts the visit and logs it as wordpress dashboard. I don’t want my own visits counted. It didn’t happen before I bought the domain.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

I don’t experience that on either of my domains and you shouldn’t be either. I have flagged this thread for Staff attention.

Edit: WordPress doesn’t recognize me as the blog “owner” either. When I look at the blog when I’m logged in, it used to have an edit button at the bottom of each post. Now that button isn’t there. So since I bought and mapped the new domain, I’m not recognized as the owner of the blog.

Second edit: this issue is apparently due to browser settings. I usually use Safari, but I was working this morning in Firefox. I switched back to Safari and the problem has disappeared. I think the privacy settings on Firefox have to be relaxed for wordpress to recognize me as the blog owner.

Thank you. Problem solved. It might be helpful to address third-party cookies in the stats section, if it isn’t there already. That’s where I originally looked to solve the problem. thanks again
