Bought Domains, Redirecting. Newbie.

  Hello. I just bought a years subscription to WordPress. With this I was given one free domain and I bought an extra domain. I am new to this (not new to WordPress though), and the two new domains keep redirecting to the originally bought years subscription rather than the two new sites I added. Please help me with this as soon as possible.

  In a nut shell, what I’m trying to do is use iglampixels.com as my main page. I also added simplylovelythemes.com as a new domain page for a friend. When I enter these addresses I always get directed back to iglampixels.wordress.com , when what I want is to be directed to the new domains.

  Hi iglampixels,

  Both of those domains are associated with your iglampixels.wordress.com blog. To have simplylovelythemes.com point to a different blog, it will need to be moved to a different blog on your account or to a different user.

  Please let me know which blog on WordPress.com simplylovelythemes.com should be pointing to, and I can either apply it to a different blog on your account (if you have one) or transfer it to another user (who will need to be a user on your current blog at least temporarily).

  Would I need to pay $99 again to purchase a blog? And how do I go about adding a second blog to my WordPress? Thank you for replying :)

  Hi there,

  Good work!

  I have moved the domain simplylovelythemes.com to your new blog at simplylovellythemes.wordpress.com. You just need to log into that blog’s Dashboard and update the primary domain under Store > Domains to activate it whenever you’re ready.

  Thanks for taking the time to do that for me. I set simplylovelythemes.com as the primary address but unfortunately still being redirected back to iglampixels.com :(

  Sorry my mistake it worked on a different device! Thank you so much! I assume that adding my friend as the main admin to this blog is a straight forward process?

  Hi there,

  Your browser was just showing an old version of the site. Once you clear the cache or restart the browser, you will see that the domain is now working properly.

  You can add your friend as an admin for the blog at any time.

  If you wish to move the upgrade and the blog ownership completely over to your friend in the future, please contact us privately via http://support.wordpress.com/contact/ (the link can be found at the bottom of the Store page in your Dashboard).
