Bounce rate and redirect problem

Problem: Bounce rates have been exactly 0% site-wide toward the end of April.

Other info: Before the problem, bounce rates were about 50% with 1000 unique views per month. In May, some pages have started having a bounce rate (this is only for a limited number of pages that may be new or edited in some way).

Website changes: Around the time of when 0% bounces started, there were tons of changes to the website that would be too challenging to backtrack all of them. 10+ new plugins, Google Tag Manager implementation, various additions for tracking events/goals, 10+ new pages/posts.

Already troubleshooted: Removed extra tracking codes. Now only has 1 version of Google Tag Manager and associated Google Analytics code. The bounce rate becomes accurate when I disable 301 redirects (I tried several plugins and htaccess edit, redirects work but site-wide bounce rate is 0% in this case). Not sure if the redirecting is interacting with anything else on the site. I tried disabling several trigger events and tagging (sumome) but that didn’t help the bounce rate problem (maybe it’s mailchimp or facebook pixel).

    Any suggestions?
