Boxes

I am having trouble (Still) with boxes. I used to be able to create them on word and just copy and paste. Now, the lines do not show up and the information in the boxes is in the center not at the top. The main thing I want is the lines to show up. The boxes are invisible. HELP!!! I am having trouble (Still) with boxes. People have tried to help before with no result.

Are you referring to table HTML tables?
