Bradford Cover – Blackout issue
-
Hi there, I am a real beginner so please forgive me if I am missing something blatantly obvious! When I activated the Bradford theme, the Cover image is black instead of white, and I can’t figure out how to change it, so that it looks the way it does in the theme’s preview (ie. white background, with a large yellow graphic)
Thanks in advance~The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Update:
I discovered when I click on the link to my blog above, it looks fine. But when I’m editing my homepage, or previewing it, the cover background image still appears black instead of white :/ -
HI,
Please edit page of the website home page. Once you click on a block, you can change the color on the right hand side.

Hi Shwetha,
Yes I clicked on the block, but I cannot see any colour change tool on the right hand side. There is only ‘Media Settings’, ‘Overlay’, ‘Dimensions’ and ‘Advanced’ – none of which fix the problem! -
Hi Shwetha
Yes, I tried that – but when I apply an Overlay, it covers up the large yellow shape that the Bradford template comes with. How do I fix that?
I’d like to keep that yellow shape, but on a white background – so that the black text is visible above that.
Thank you for replying so far :)

Hi there,
This is only happening in the editor and won’t affect the published page. Having said that, I’ve already reported that issue to our developers, and they’ll work on a fix. I’ll update you here once it’s fixed.
In the meantime, if you don’t want to wait for a fix, you can switch to a different theme.
