Breadcrumb Navigation adds extra numeric characters to Tags
-
I am using “Responsive” theme by Cyberchimps.
Tag “Archive” pages add extra numeric characters when displayed in breadcrumb navigation. Example:
http://petandplayground.com/tag/upcoming-event/
Here is a screenshot that helps illustrate:
http://gyazo.com/819869c3fbea34bacd406de8caec22ad
The Tag is named “Upcoming Event”. The slug is “upcoming-event”. On the linked screenshot, the tag name is displayed correctly at the bottom of page. The problem is with the breadcrumb navigation, in this example the numeric characters “27” are appended to the tag name.
This seems to be occurring with all tags, but a different, unique number is appended in each case. Here is another Tag “Archive” page:
http://petandplayground.com/tag/past-event/
In this example, the tag name is “Past Event”, the slug is “past-event”, but the breadcrumb navigation appends a “23”.
Any help is much appreciated.

You are in the wrong forum and need to be at WordPress.ORG for help with that version of the software.

Hi raincoaster,
Thanks for your reply.
This website is built with a WP.com “Business” plan. Why must I go to .ORG support?

ah, my mistake. You might want to post in the Premium Themes forum for help with that then.

This seems to be a glitch in the theme as the extra numbers are also appearing on the Responsive demo:

I’ll let our developers know so it can be fixed – thanks for the report!

Howdy! Thanks much for bringing this to our attention! We’ve fixed Responsive and numbers should no longer appear after tag archives in the breadcrumbs. :)
Cheers,
Caroline
