  This is not on topic but I noticed something I want to address. Themes are retired when they no longer support all WordPress.COM features and you are using a retired theme. The recommendation it to switch themes. See here for 19 free two column themes with post sliders. http://theme.wordpress.com/themes/features/two-columns+post-slider/?sort=free

  I’m sorry but I’m not aware if any of the themes have breadcrumbs and if so which ones do.

  The Big Brother theme has a breadcrumb line that I like.
