Breaking captions into two lines
-
Hi all – I’m trying to break a caption into two lines. Right now only have the draft ready. I can manually break the line by just hitting return, as well as inserting a
tag. Looks ok on the draft. But when I preview, it all goes back to a single line. Any way I can do that? Would like to keep the caption within the caption frame rather than just outside the photo.Alternate – add a block of space between the ending of one line and the beginning of another?
Thanks for any help or guidance!

Hi panaghiotisadam:
I did read the earlier post before I put up the post of my own. But I didn’t dig deep enough – on second reading at your suggestion, I then went back into the original source code and pasted that into my editor. I was able to then break the line with no problem.
Thanks for your quick response – and also for pointing me out to linking my name to my blog. Thought I had already accomplished that…

You’re welcome. But long captions break into lines automatically if you don’t mess with them, so you don’t need to do all that. Except if you mean force a line break where you want it instead of where it happens by itself.
