Brendan Schneider Hijacked my blog post.
-
How did http://paper.li/schneiderb/2011/10/23 insert an advert in my blog post and how did he insert his URL? My post appears to be embedded in his website. I hadn’t been on Twitter in a while and didn’t realize he had “mentioned” me. I blocked him but how do I prevent this from happening again?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi. In order to assist you, we need the URL of your blog, starting with http:// please. Thanks.
-
http://paper.li/schneiderb/2011/10/23 is not a wordpress.com site, so wordpress has no control over that, and you have not given a link to your site so we volunteers aren’t sure if your site is hosted here or not.
What is the URL of your site?

Sounds to me like a bog-standard Paper.li that is excerpting someone’s blog. This is how it functions. Everything is behaving normally.
-
Sorry. My blog is http://globalchirp.com/
Raincoaster: Every may be “behaving normally” except for inserting ads in my blog without permission. The blog post was an experiment I did with elementary students. I do not want an ad in the middle of it and I don’t want it listed under someone else’s Paper.
If anyone can suggest a way to prevent this from happening again, I would appreciate it.

I just found this (thanks to Raincoaster indicating it was a Paper.li) on
http://support.paper.li/entries/20023257-what-is-paper-liWhat if blogger or content provider doesn’t want his or her content to be published?
It’s true that we cannot control Tweepers from sharing great content that they find, but we can control if it shows up for discovery on the pages of a Paper.li.
Any content creator that does not want their work to be discovered on the pages of a Paper.li can contact us and ask to be blacklisted. We will make sure that the URL of their site is discarded, and not published, on the pages of a Paper.li
