Bring Back the Old Reader Options

    This is a thread where people may voice their opinions on the recent changes that have been imposed on the Reading Settings concerning Reader.

    In order to improve “the reading experience”, WordPress has deprived its users the option of choosing how their posts appear in the Reader feed. Earlier users could choose whether a full post could be read in the Reader or merely an excerpt. People often chose the excerpt in order to attract more visitors in their blogs.

    The issue matters for several reasons that have already been mentioned in the following thread: https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/whats-happened-to-the-more-tag?replies=26#post-2784975 I will therefore not repeat them here.

    And its always a question why isn’t there a proper update to inform us about the changes made, instead of having to find them the hard way…

    I’m in complete sync with the reasoning of the mentioned thread.
    Which means :Bring Back the Old Reader Options…please.
