  Hello. I think it’s way more interesting to be able to choose which upgrades to pay for, than needing to pay for a whole plan…

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  As of September 1, 2014 the only individual upgrades are the custom domain. Every other individual upgrade is now part of the Premium and Business plans.

  The likelihood that this policy decision made last year will be rolled back is next to zero.

  It is less confusing to have plans than individual upgrades.

  I don’t think it’s less confusing. Confusing is to pay for unknown and useless features only because it’s sold in a plan.

  Based on over 9 years of experience here I know what we think isn’t going to change anything so why waste any more time typing about this?

  The policy change was not popular and many many people raised objections in the forum – some people even suggested different ways of encouraging people to buy multiple upgrades

  And given the universal dislike of the change in price policy – what you see is how much the staff took the advice of the customers

  so as @TT says to the effect “abandon all hope on this issue”

  Yes, I’m with auxclasss. Without any doubt at all, I think beating the ghosts of dead horses is a senseless waste of time.
