Bring back the old "Writing Helper" (and keep the new "'copy' link)

PLEASE BRING BACK THE FORMER “COPY POST” OPTION in the Writing helper.
Although I AM a fan of having the “Copy post” option in the Posts list…
I am NOT a fan of having it removed from the “new post” page, in the “Writing Helper” drop down. It was very easy to “Add new post”, then click the writing helper, type in a few words from the title of a post I want to copy, then click the “Copy” button.
Bottom line: I WANT THE OPTION OF DOING EVERYTHING FROM THE NEW POST PAGE.
PLEASE BRING BACK THE FORMER “COPY POST” OPTION (and keep the “copy” link in the posts list).
    Thank you.

Another problem… the former “Copy post” in writing helper only copied the post text, tags, etc., but put it in “Standard” format. The “Copy” link in the posts list places it in the same format as I left it, which I always change to Gallery after 24 hours.
BRING BACK THE COPY POST FUNCTION IN THE WRITING HELPER, PLEASE!!!!
(yes, that’s another thing… what’s the point of even having the “Writing Helper” in the create new post page when it doesn’t DO anything?).

    Hi kauilapele,

I am NOT a fan of having it removed from the “new post” page, in the “Writing Helper” drop down.

The option to copy a post from within the editor is still available in the classic editor (which you are currently using). It should be listed in Post Settings > More Options > Copy Post. See the Post Editor section:

    https://en.support.wordpress.com/posts/copy-a-post/

This is available in addition to the “Copy” option in My Sites > Blog Posts.
