  hello
  i want to bring up the main area of the site(the white area) closer to the top banner
  how can i do it?

  Hi @korenoren9, it looks like you are using WordPress but you are not hosted here at WordPress.com. For self-hosted WordPress sites such as yours, I would suggest asking for help from the theme author directly or ask in the volunteer-based WordPress.org Themes and Templates forum.

  I did take a quick look at your site, and it is top margin and top/bottom padding on the site-branding div that you need to adjust. Here is the relevant CSS.

  .site-branding {
      margin: 1.75em auto 0;
      padding: 1.75em 0;
  }

  If you have not yet done so, I would suggest creating a child theme so that any customizations you make will not be overwritten by a future theme update. Alternately you can use the Edit CSS function in the Jetpack plugin, or use one of the other Custom CSS plugins that will keep CSS changes from being overwritten.
