The short answer is: maybe.
It really depends on what site builder you used to create your existing site. For example, if you used the open source WordPress software (from WordPress.org), then there is a good chance of bringing a significant amount of bother your content and site design over to WordPress.com.
We do have import options for other site builders, but with those, you are bringing the content over more than the design of the site itself:
