Broken Image Links

  Since upgrading to WP 5.9.1: I load images from existing media, but when I publish the page, the link address becomes incorrect. Somehow an extra ‘purdy-mcguire.com’ is added to the link which makes it invalid. The link is correct in WP. HELP! I’ve been trying to fix this for 2 weeks. I know what the problem is but can’t find where to fix it in WP.

  I’m afraid that we can’t help directly because your purdy-mcguire.com site is not with WordPress.com managed hosting. As such, we don’t have the ability to take a closer look at your site.

  Instead, your host uses open-source WordPress.org software, which differs from what we offer here on WordPress.com.

  The good news though is that help is available in the WordPress.org forums: https://wordpress.org/support/forum/how-to-and-troubleshooting/

  Otherwise, you may want to contact your host for further support.
