Hi my image library on my phone is fine and also on my desktop but on my laptop the links are broken? Any suggestions? I do not have my own domain – it is a wordpress.com site

So i have ensured I have the latest version of edge and chrome, cleared my cookies, ensured java is ok and flashplayer is on but my images on my laptop are still broken.
On the same network (wifi) my images show fine on my phone
I don’t know what else to do? -
Hi @ndsouza2006, that is odd. It sounds like something could be blocking the images.
Using Chrome, if you right-click on one of the broken images (or option click) and open it in a new tab, does the image display then, or what error do you get?

Yes the image displays when I open it in a new tab..
I dont get an error.
I have also not uninstalled and reinstalled antivirus in case that was an issue and it is still the same :(

Hi – how do i do that. Sorry it has taken a while to come back – do you mean i update my wordpress media with that photo and you can then see it? If so i have just done that.

Thanks for the screenshot, that’s a great help. I’ve checked your Media Library from my side and the thumbnails are loading without any issues. Are you able to see the images when viewing your Media Library through the WP Admin dashboard? This link will take you through to the right place:

No I can see them all on that link. I then click on my normal wordpress and they are still broken :( I have no idea. It must be something on my laptop that is stopping it or something I need to click on because it is only an issue with my laptop. Clearly the admin sites is fine too. Any other suggestions?

Good morning –
1. try using a different web browser temporarily
2. clear the browser cache
3. disable any browser extensions
4. try a different internet connection all together (especially if you are working from school, work, or public wifi)
