Broken Images Automatically Created in New Multisite

    Hello,

    When I create a new site in my multisite network (e.g., cbdabc.de), the Media Library on the new site automatically populates with what appear to be migrated images from the main site (cbdabc.com). However, all of these images are broken and unusable.

    Key Details:
    – The main site, cbdabc.com, contains a complete and functional Media Library.
    – Upon creating a new site (e.g., cbdabc.de), the Media Library on the new site displays the same images as the main site, but they are broken and cannot be used.

    What I Need Help With:
    – Is it expected behavior for new multisite instances to automatically display media from the main site?
    – If so, why are the images broken, and how can this be resolved?
    – If not, what might be causing this issue, and how can I ensure new sites in the network start with a clean Media Library or properly handle media?

    This issue is critical to my project, as I plan to create multiple sites within the network and need a reliable workflow for handling media files. I would greatly appreciate any insights or guidance you can provide.
