Broken Images/Image Upload Problems
-
Ever since yesterday, all of the previously posted images to my blog are broken and I am unable to upload new ones. I’ve tried clearing my cache, I’ve switched to https:// and my FireFox is up to date. The images are broken in all browser types.
Is anyone having similar problems or know other troubleshooting strategies for this?
Thank you!

Have you tried posting into this thread? https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/wp-changed-format-of-my-pictures-why/page/6?replies=154

I’ll try that, too. It didn’t appear to be the same problem, but I’ll try anyway. Thanks.

What I see is images in every post on your front page and I’m using Firefox 8.1. This is the troubleshooting drill:
1. How are you connecting to the internet and to WordPress.com? The way you connect to the internet (mobile, satellite, DSL, dial-up) and to your blog, and how many proxy server jumps etc. it takes to connect can cause problems. There maybe be problems with your ISP and/or with the proxy servers.2. Are you using http:// or https:// see http://en.support.wordpress.com/https/
3.Which browser and version of it are you using?
4. Have you tried clearing your browser cache and cookies? http://www.google.com/support/accounts/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=32050
5. Is your browser version up to date? You can upgrade any browser version here.
6. Do you have third party cookies enabled?
7. Do you have JavaScript enabled?
8. Do you have another browser you can try?
9. You can use this link to see if your Flash is up to date. http://www.adobe.com/software/flash/about/ If it’s not up to date then this is where to download and install the latest version of Flash. http://www.adobe.com/products/flashplayer/
10. Have you had any recent operating system and/or security program updates?

Thanks for checking. I’m relieved that the images are working for others. I’m on a wireless connection in a hotel in Europe, so perhaps that’s causing problems. My browsers are up to date, cache is emptied, https is on, cookies are enabled. I’ll try some of the other things. Maybe it’s just based on where I’m logging in from.

I note that your username is linked to the front page of WordPress.com rather than to your blog. Is this your blog? http://celiathyola.wordpress.com/ -

I just used IE8 and I can see all the images just like I could with Firefox 8.1 so I do believe this is due to a connectivity issue. -
