Broken Link Checker showing over 400 bad links

    My WordPress blog over the last few days has been showing over 400 broken links. The urls appear to be correct, but the links have stopped working. I have replace the theme with a simpler theme, and disabled all the plugins and then reactivated them one at a time, but the problem continues.

    I have a second website that is using the same WordPress and Plugins but is not showing this problem.

    Does anyone have any ideas on what might be happening? Thank you!

    Hi @etkcp, there is a code error when the broken links are shown?

    You could try fixing the .htaccess file by following these steps:

    1. Go to Settings > Permalinks in your WordPress dashboard and simply click “Save Changes”.
      This will regenerate the .htaccess file and might resolve the issue.
    2. Clear your browser cache and cookies.

    Then, try accessing your WordPress blog again.

    Hi there, what WordPress.com website is this happening on? Keep in mind that these forums assist site owners who are hosted on WordPress.com, the hosting provider.

    Once we know the address of the site involved, we can better assist.
