Broken link I can’t find

    I have run a broken link checker and it has come up with a site I don’t recognise it. It is http://1098856838.8466972.temp.prositehosting.co.uk/all-our-listings/ and although serch pages says it is a page called ‘title’ I can;t find it. Has my website been hijacked?

    Your site is not hosted with WordPress.com but instead a site using the open-source WordPress software (from WordPress.org) but hosted elsewhere.

    We cannot access files or data for sites that are hosted elsewhere, so WordPress.com staff can only assist with sites that are hosted on our servers. But, I can get you pointed in the right direction.

    That URL looks like a temporary URL that was set when your site was under development linking to an “all listings” page. It doesn’t resolve to anything now (because the development site was probably deleted), so you should check your site’s links and menus for any use of that specific URL and remove it – that should take care of the problem.

    You could also reach out to your host for help with this issue. Since they’re hosting your site’s files, they also have access to those files and could help you locate the source of that URL.
