Broken links after transferring from Blogger
-
How do I fix broken links after transferring my blog from blogger to wordpress.com?
My blog is awakenyourtastebuds.com and some of the posts seem to be broken. Only a handful of them are, however I have links on Pinterest and Facebook to these posts and now they broken and people won’t be able to find them.
Thank you in advance!
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Can you give us some examples of links which are broken? We need to see where they originally pointed (where they tag links, search links, etc).

Hi, thanks for getting back to me.
The links that are broken are actual blog posts. So in my recipes page if you click certain recipe links it says the page can’t be found.
These are a few of the links which are broken.
http://awakenyourtastebuds.com/2013/02/sweetheart-tacos-leafy-love-affair.html
http://awakenyourtastebuds.com/2012/10/sweet-saturdays-superfood-fudge.html
http://awakenyourtastebuds.com/2012/12/how-to-make-egg-free-cake.html
When I use my Search Box to look for these posts I can find them, it’s just when I try to follow the link it appears broke

It looks like the broken links lack the “date” part of the URL.
For example, the Sweetheart Tacos broken link is:
http://awakenyourtastebuds.com/2013/02/sweetheart-tacos-leafy-love-affair.html
But the working link is:
http://awakenyourtastebuds.com/2013/02/25/sweetheart-tacos-leafy-love-affair.htmlAn example of recipe that works is http://awakenyourtastebuds.com/2013/03/05/chocolate-coconutty-superfood-bark/
Notice it has the date part of the URL.
You seem to be using a redirection tool since your recipes page point to lm.inlinkz.com/go.php___________. If you can, try to update the broken links so they will point to the correct posts.

Hi, thanks very much for pointing that out! I didn’t even notice.
I don’t think I can individually fix the dates on each post, if you know what I mean. I just opened the link and went to edit, but when you go to edit the permalink the date is set in stone. Any ideas? (Thanks again!)
-
Ah, that’s right. You can’t edit the 2013/01/05 portion of the permalink. :(
But how do you set which link the lm.inlinkz.com/<something> points to? Maybe you can try changing those instead?
-
Yes I will definitely just update those ones, it’s just a shame that they work on referring sites. Thanks again!
