broken theme and non-functioning .php
-
HI there, I was unzipping a new theme to upload via ftp (it was too big) and accidentally made an error in the file name for the theme when I transferred it. I didn’t notice before installing it (Duh!) Now that the fake/mistake theme is installed, the menu links/dashboard are not functioning. Each time I click on a menu item that links to a .php page all I get is a blank page.
The themes did temporarily load and for a happy moment I thought I could restore the default theme and override the mistake theme, but it didn’t work.
I corrected the name of the theme in the data base, and it did show up in the themes for that brief moment, so I know it’s there. But a few minutes later, there was no access the theme page to correct it.
Something went wrong but not sure what, and am guessing it might be more than a broken link to a broken theme…
This is the site:

Many thanks Tamara

Hi Tamara
You are asking in the wrong place. Your pages are not hosted here at WordPress.Com. The correct place to ask your question is at:
https://wordpress.org/support/If you do not have an account at WordPress.Org you will have to create one, the process is similar to the one you did here a few months ago.
They have the experience with pages not hosted here. Your question is excellent in that it has details that will help them help you.
And if you are wondering about the difference between the two WordPress addresses, this document will help explain it.
Good luck!
