Broken website links
-
Hi,
I tried posting this on the wordpress.org forums but received no help, so I’m trying here. I’ve recently been assigned to take charge of this website by my employer. The previous website designer no longer works for the company so I cannot have any help from him. It seems that all the links on the website only link to the same 3 articles. Many articles have been written and are all saved on the site; but as soon as you try to publish them the link will only send you to these three articles. For example:
All these links link to the same article:

We can’t help as your site isn’t running on the wordpress.com platform. You must try to get help at wordpress.org

Hi there,
WordPress.com is a hosting provider for the WordPress software, and we use a modified version of that software that doesn’t work exactly the same as the version you’re using on your site. We also don’t have any access to or control over your site’s server, so our ability to help here is very limited.
That said, I took a look at your site, and all the links you posted above go to unique articles for me. Did you manage to figure this out?
If they’re still loading identical articles for you, I’d say the problem is with your browser. Try clearing the browser cache, or try loading the articles in a different browser or over a different internet connection.
If that doesn’t help either, it’s best to wait for a reply in the WordPress.org forums, as the people there are better able to help you troubleshoot this.
The WordPress.org forums are staffed by the same people who make the WordPress software. They’re all unpaid volunteers who work on the software and help in the forums in their free time, and this is a major US holiday week, so it’s safe to assume non of the US-based community members are very active in the forum this week, so it might take a while before someone replies.
It does remain the best place to get help with your version of WordPress, aside from paying a private company for WordPress support (there are companies like that, but many of them are run by scammers who’ll convince you to move your hosting to them, and then lock you out of your site unless you pay them more, so tread carefully if you want to consider that option.)
