Broken WordPress – There is no backend

Ok so this is kind of a crazy issue. A long time ago (over a year or two ago) I was hosting a website for a client (https://huepfeldental.com/). They didn’t want it anymore so I uninstalled it. Suddenly months later they came back and wanted the website back up. Luckily I had a backup of it, so I installed the backup and was able to get the front end of the website working, but couldn’t login. I honestly didn’t have time to deal with it at the time so I literally forgot until now.

Well now I want to transfer the site to new hosting, and I am facing a lot of issues. I was able to create an administration login through phpmyadmin but when I login there is no backend, there is a black bar with the name of the site and the words howdy on the right, but nothing else and when you go to /wp-admin/ I just get a message that says ‘Sorry, you are not allowed to access this page.’ Here is a screenshot: https://www.dropbox.com/s/xonz8za6hxvr471/backend.PNG?dl=0

I have tried to restore the base WordPress files (version 5.5.3) and I repaired the database but nothing seems to be happening. I have checked the error logs and these are the latest errors (stars are for privacy):

[28-Apr-2021 13:44:08 UTC] PHP Warning: require(/home/***/public_html/***/wp-includes/class-wp-paused-extensions-storage.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/***/public_html/***/wp-settings.php on line 40
[28-Apr-2021 13:44:08 UTC] PHP Fatal error: require(): Failed opening required ‘/home/***/public_html/***/wp-includes/class-wp-paused-extensions-storage.php’ (include_path=’.:/opt/alt/php74/usr/share/pear’) in /home/***/public_html/***/wp-settings.php on line 40

The only other errors are from last year:

[14-Sep-2020 13:33:24 UTC] PHP Warning: hash_equals(): Expected known_string to be a string, null given in /home/***/public_html/***/wp-includes/pluggable.php on line 2388

    Hi @redcroix,

I am sorry you have faced these problems, but I do not see how we could help you because your website is not related with WordPress.com at all.
It is hosted on GoDaddy, not on WordPress.com :
    https://www.whoishostingthis.com/#search=huepfeldental.com
Theme is also not created by WordPress.com : https://whatwpthemeisthat.com/

This forum is dedicated to WordPress.com users who have hosted their websites on WordPress.com, you can read more about the differences between WordPress.org software and WordPress.com here:

    WordPress.com vs. WordPress.org

Therefore I can only suggest seeking for help at WordPress.org community forums:
