Bromley theme: Change Sidebar widget colours

  Hi there
  I was wondering if someone could give me the CSS to change the colour of my sidebar widget header text ie:
  Follow Blog Widget is white at the moment
  Video window is in white
  The RSS feeds in the bottom bar are also white.
  How can I change these so that they are black

  Reason: I want to change the headers from blue to white. This means the header text therefore vanishes

  Help please

  Also being able to change the header font would be a bonus.
  Is there a site where I can get header text codes like you do with colour codes?

  Hi there,
  I’m not sure if this is what you mean, but try this:

  .widget h3.widgettitle {
  color: #000;

  Try this: http://www.rapidtables.com/web/color/RGB_Color.htm to view rgb codes. Although the best way is to use your browser’s developer tool: https://dailypost.wordpress.com/2013/07/25/css-selectors/. When you edit your CSS selector, it automatically displays the color picker and you just need to pick the color and the code is written.

  Hi there carladoria

  That worked a treat thanks for that
  However, now I cant see the text on some of my bottom bar widgets.
  How can I turn the text black?
  The widgets are:
  Facebook Page Plugin
  RSS Feeds (I have four so far)

  Tx for the colour codes. I’ll start to make inroads with the other link you sent me, phew!

  To have your these titles with black, please add this CSS (this one includes the selector “a”)

  .widget h3.widgettitle a {
  color: #000;

  Thanks for your help once again:

  I posted

  .widget h3.widgettitle a {
  color: #000;

  into my CSS but alas nothing changed. I also tried #000000 but still no changes. The Facebook and RSS header text remains white.

  Any further suggestions would be really welcomed.

  Andy, I see this in your custom CSS, which seems to catch all the widget titles.

  .widget h3.widgettitle, .widget h3.widgettitle a {
      color: #000 !important;
  }

  Are you still having issues with any of this?
