Bromley Theme: CSS Change Featured Posts Slider Speed

  Hi there
  I just added 8 posts to my Bromley header/slider. It worked fine though the posts changed every 1 or 2 seconds.
  I removed 4 posts to stop the slider as it was really fast.

  I’ve gone to the ‘featured content’ section in ‘Customize’ but there is nothing there to change the speed.

  Is there any way I can slow the slider down to a more gentle pace? Maybe every 10 seconds?

  Slider speed can’t be changed with CSS, as it’s part of the theme’s JavaScript code. You could post in the Bromley forum to see if the developer can suggest any workarounds for modifying the slider speed, but I had an initial look and I don’t think it’s possible.

  Ok that’s a real drag > I was really looking forward to getting it up and running but zips by at light speed :(

  Thanks for dropping by and taking the time to let me know though.

  I’ll leave this as ‘not resolved’ just in case anyone has any other ideas and follow your link.
