Bromley Theme Header

  • Unknown's avatar

Hello! I purchased the Bromley theme yesterday and am having trouble getting a featured header image to appear. I have uploaded pictures that fit the size criteria and have cropped them, but when I publish, nothing appears on the site. I’m assuming the header image is what we use to get the look that appears on the preview site ( the image strip). Please help!

    Hi there,

The custom header in the Bromley theme is actually different from the image strip you see on the demo site.

To set a Custom Header Image, you can go to Appearance > Header in your dashboard. From there, you can upload an image that’s at least 1140 pixels wide and use that as a single header image that appears under the bar with your site’s title and navigation menu.

The image strip, on the other hand, is a Featured Content section in the theme. To set that up, you can tag your posts with a Tag of your choice. Then, enter that tag under Settings > Reading in your dashboard, in the Featured Content area. Posts with that tag will be featured in that image strip.
