Brompton front page header no longer displays

I did a cursory search of these here forums and didn’t find anything directly related to this, so I’m asking here. Recently, I tried editing with Elementor, and I’m thinking this is the problem as the learning curve is much too steep for me so I went back a few revisions. When I did this, I noticed that in the preview my Brompton header and all the customization I’ve done is gone. I have it set to display as a static page, and I don’t wish to go back into revisions as far as I feel I’d have to in order to get it back (if that’s even possible). The main reason I got Elementor is that I hoped I’d be able to edit the header and theme and background colors for the front page, but I much prefer the block editor. I did change back to the block editor on the front page, which, again, is probably what broke the header. So, how can I get that back?

  • Hi! Our forums staff typically just works with free sites, no plugins. So I’ve got to admit that for all the years I’ve been here, I have not seen this. But I don’t use Elementor either.

The team that supports business might already know how to fix this, though. Can you try reaching out directly here?

They’ll generally be faste than free forums support too. But just in case, I’m also checking in with others here to see if they have a solution. If I do we’ll update you here. Cheers!
