Brompton Theme and Responsiveness?

Hello everyone. I am new to web design and have learned a lot along the way with my new site WeAre3R.com. I am pretty proud of myself for learning a little bit about CSS, which allowed me to customize some aspects of my site. I still have plenty more to read and learn about it though! I am about 98% finished with my site WeAre3r.com. I took a look at it in desktop mode and it looks perfect. When I viewed it from the mobile device mode I discovered that the site did not convert to a smooth design for mobile devices. I even viewed it from my cell phone as well. Instead, the titles of the different pages cuts in half, so you can only see half of the word on one line, and the other half below. I spoke with support yesterday and they informed me to use CSS to target the mobile view specifically. I also thought about how maybe my Brompton theme wasn’t a responsive theme, so I checked the info page on it but say nothing about responsiveness. But I assume that it must be since viewing from a tablet the site looks good. (Please inform me if I am wrong about that assumption though).

Can someone please help me create or find a CSS code that would help me target solely the page header text from being extremely large in mobile view and cut off the words? Thank you!

  • Hi there!

Your theme is responsive and the headers of the pages or posts are adapting correctly to the size of the screen. I think what bothers you is the Cover Block with the text.

You will want to use media queries to change that only for small screens:
