Browser not automatically refreshing for logged on users

I have created a blog that requires users to login to see content. I used the Simple WordPress Membership plugin to accomplish this. But, I have encountered a problem. Website pages to not refresh after a user logs in, and this has created confusion for some of my readers.

For example, they log in and then navigate back to the login screen. What should appear is the user’s information and a note that they are logged in, but what appears is the empty username and password boxes. After pressing F5 the proper information is displayed on the screen.

I installed the W3 Total Cache plugin and changed the settings according to some information I found online; I set things to not cache the login page and then to just disable caching, but the problem persists.

I am new to WordPress but eager to learn and find a solution to this issue. I have looked around online all day and tinkered with various settings to no avail. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Howdy hatf0016!

It seems that your site (www.nebbow-and-mimi.com) is not hosted on WordPress.COM. Your site is hosted on BlueHost with a software install of WordPress.ORG which means that it is not applicable to this forum.

It would be better suited for you to ask this question at https://WordPress.org/support/ for a more accurate answer. If you don’t have a WordPress.ORG account you’ll need to create one. Your WordPress.COM account won’t work there.

If you need any further assistance, let me know. Thank you for your understanding!

Thanks! I was not aware of the distinction between the two, obviously!

It’s a bit confusing for people at first so understandable! It’s one of the biggest problems of WordPress that the CEO has admitted ha!
