Browser Problems and Errors in WordPress WHY

Two days before Christmas, I noticed I was unable to add stories to my blog and edit them. I could get into the back part of the blog to manage it but nothing worked. Wednesday, Christmas Eve I was able to post stories but not edit them…. Then things got strange. My Akimet stopped working, then I noticed strange stuff with browsers (in detail below)
I.E. Can’t add or edit stories, can’t even hit the edit button on the story to view it. I can only see the back office part. I can’t edit widgets, etc… nothing works. I can however view the homepage from the main URL
Firefox… I can’t add stories; I can edit, but it gives me an error that the story was deleted… I have to hit refresh and all my edits are showing and posted?
Safari….. Same as Firefox.
I contacted my server who has it on a Linux server as we installed it on, they found no reason why this is happening and suggested that the database could be timing out, the IP was logged incorrectly in the computer and/or router… I cleared all my cache files, reset the router and still nothing.
Does anyone else have this problem, or know what to do….

This is the support forum for WordPress.COM, the hosted version of WordPress. If you’ve installed your own WordPress on a server, then sounds to me like you’re in the wrong forum. You need to be over at http://wordpress.org/support
