Browser stays logged-in when I don't select that.
-
I log-in, making sure the “keep me logged in box is NOT checked, then I get the special number sent to my email and enter it (there is no “keep me logged in on that page), and I’m in.
But…
When I shut my browser down, then come back an open it, I’m still logged-in…
Is there any way to stop this behavior??
-
Hm, that’s odd.
Would you please try clearing your browser’s cache and cookies? http://en.support.wordpress.com/browser-issues/
-
I do that regularly—but…
If no one else comes up with a better solution I may do it again :-)

Ok, we’re looking into this. It’s probably either an oversight or requirement of the two step authentication system.
Sorry for the trouble!

Thanks!!
My greatest concern is my browser retaining the password—though with two-step are both the password and the secret number stored???
-
Nothing is stored, we just set a cookie which says “you are logged in as you” whenever you access the site, it expires in 2 weeks.
I think part of the two step authentication process requires this, but I’m still waiting for confirmation.
-
Yes, but does what’s happening mean my browser is saving the password and magic number???
I have no saving of passwords btw…..

This is all fixed up now.
If you log in an don’t check the remember me box, we won’t remember you, even if you’re using two step authentication.
Please let us know if you need any further assistance!
