  I’m trying to find out how to browse blogs. I’m clearly new here and am fumbling around as best I can…

  So far I’ve discovered the option of “next-ing” to different blogs via writing http://wordpress.com/next/ in the URL or going onto different blogs which have liked your page.

  Is there a search/browse section so anyone can look for different types of blogs or websites?

  You can try a number of things. For blog setups (themes, how people have adapted themes) there’s a user showcase link on this WordPress page: https://en.blog.wordpress.com/2012/05/15/look-at-these-gorgeous-blogs/

  Also, it’s easy to browse “tags” by going to your Reader in the dashboard, and adding the topic tags you’re interested in. Note that the dropdown menu for the Reader also has recommendations (which may not activate until you’ve liked and followed some blogs and posts).

  Thanks for the tips @jaw501! Just after I started this discussion I found the tag section, going to check out the How-to
