  hi there, I need to set up a buddy site for school reunion that has a members page and a chat page, can you help me through this process? how to start?

  BuddyPress is a plugin and plugins can only be installed on WordPress.com if you have the Business Plan Upgrade:

  https://wordpress.com/business/

  They are usually used for WordPress.ORG installs which run on different software.
