  Hello,

  I am trying to start a buddypress site, but when I go to the plug-in link from my homepage, I am not given the option to add the buddypress plugin.

  I’ve already downloaded the latest version of buddypress, so I am unsure how to proceed.

  Hi there,

  Plugins can’t be uploaded to sites hosted on WordPress.com. They can only be uploaded to self-hosted blogs running on WordPress.org software. You can read more about the differences between WordPress.com and WordPress.org here:
