BuddyPress Members Can’t Comment

Hello,
I don’t know where to post this. I tried .net and they refered me here.
BuddyPress —– Members can’t comment under posts or on comments in Groups or on the Activity page. Note: They can create a post, just not comment on posts.
Upon send met with following message:
‘You have posted an inappropriate word.’
No inapproprite word posted, no word.. not even “I can’t comment” is accepted.
- I have cleared the cache, both browser and WP.
- I have disabled plugins and it did not solve issue.
- Settings / BuddyPress / Options / Activity Streams / Allow activity stream commenting on posts and comments – checked
It used to work, and I can’t know for how long it hasn’t worked.

Now, I must mention that BuddyPress is a third-party plugin that we do not fully support. However, I’ve done a quick check and found a relevant support topic in their documentation. You can modify your plugin files using SFTP.
If the issue persists after trying the above solution, I would recommend reaching out to BuddyPress support directly. They should be able to provide more specific assistance as they are the experts on their own product.
