Buddypress on Bluehost

  We are in the process to create an online sharing forum.

  The basic features would be:
  — a space for each member to create and manage their individual or organization profile;
  — create or join discussion groups,
  — upload photographs and video images,
  — announce events
  — send private messages, and
  — if they like link their page to their email inbox or Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter etcetera

  A designated administrator(s) would approve the initial registration of each member. And each member would have full control to approve, delete or edit comments left on their page.

  If we chose Bluehost (or another hosting service) what does installing WordPress/BuddyPress entail? It looks as though we would need a hosting service, domain name, and then to install the one-click application of WordPress platform and the BuddyPress plug-in. Is that easy for a non-technical person to do? And is it easy for members to then create their profile page and begin to create their profile pages and share on the forum?

  Also, How do we know if a hosting service such as Bluehost is stable?
