    Save for web devices, got it… i hadnt done that before. maybe that will solve my pixelation issue.

    p.s. If you ever came to Portugal you would know that every weekend is an eat-great-food-for-an-entire-day holiday! Its not easy to be skinny here, but the food makes it all worth it!

    @followmyfilm, yeah the 1px tile horizontally won’t work well with angled gradients. I wouldn’t worry about your gradient though as at 44k, it isn’t an issue really. When background images become an issue is when they get large. I’ve seen some blogs where the file size for a background image was 4.5MB. That is a killer. As long as you can keep things under say 50-75k, you are fine. Dialup users will see things a little slow, but with dialup, they should be used to that.
