Bueno Theme – grainy header picture

    Hi there,

    I’ve created my own header picture to appear on my Bueno themed blog (niceday4asulk).
    My header is made out of several pictures I took with my iphone so I used indesign to create it to the exact size required. I then exported the file to a Standard PDF and then save the as JPG, ready to upload va the Dashboard. But the uploaded header picture looks very grainy so I was wondering if there is anything I should be doing to increase its sharpness on screen? Sorry I’m new to all this!

    Making it the exact size as the header image is good so no scaling is done.

    I would not go through the PDF file stage. My experience with PDF files as an intermediate step has been mixed at best and the export does not seem to hold quality. The last PDF export files I did required quite a bit of work in an image editing program to make them work.

    Excellent, thanks for this, I skipped the PDF stage altogether and used Photoshop to create the JPG, this seems to have worked! Looking all sharp and nice. Thanks for the tip. Gaelle
