Bueno: Theme Option: Color selector malfunction

    http://lornakismet.wordpress.com Theme: Bueno

(I have been trying new themes lately. The theme makers do such a good job with their creations that it is hard to resist trying each theme out. Well, I am back to Bueno. Every theme has its own powerful set of reasons to use it, but I guess the basic “look” of Bueno has pulled me back to it. For one thing, I actually do like that big heavy font and the use of color to set the posts apart from the Sidebar.)

But there now is a problem with the color background of the blog.

I was experimenting with two aspects of the color of the blog: (1) The Options feature which allows for the green, blue, purple, etc dotted backgrounds, and (2) the Background feature, wherein I cam create a color to give to the background of the page.

Somewhere along the line I lost the ability to get those dotted color options in the Options feature. Even when I have the Background feature set back to a non-color (white = ffffff) I cannot get the dots back. It’s not necessarily that i want the dots — although they’re ok — but that I want to make sure that the template is actually working as it should be.

I notice that if I go to the Options feature and toggle a color, then whatever that color is, it shows up on the Home Page as that circle with the date, the line underneath the tab links in the Nav Bar, and in the links in the Right Sidebar, but the actual color chosen does not show up on the page field. (Excluding the field for the text in the post, of course.)

I can get a solid color by going to the Background option, but my concern is to have the features all working.

What should I do to make those dotted color backgrounds come back? (Not that I love the dots, but that if they do not show up, I know that something is wrong somewhere.)

I’ve decided to just forget about not having the dots. I changed the color of the background and then selected BROWN from the color option. Now I a blue page with brown accents (brown circle with date, brown lines under the tabs under the header, and brown links in sidebar).

So if I want to change the look, either with the background or with the accents I can go and change those two elements again.

But I have lost the ability to have dots. Those dogs have been swallowed up by the earth.

Just delete the hex colour code for the background and then save it. The theme will return to the one specified on the other options tab and the dots will reappear.

Oh, ok. I will remember to delete and save. Now that I know the program is ok and it was I who was wrong, I feel better. Thank you.
