Hello nhutch, I do believe to be able to remove the boarder around the image you would need to purchase the CSS upgrade then fiddle with CSS…

I can confirm that you so need the CSS upgrade in order to remove the pastel image borders throughout the blog in the Bueno theme. See here please > https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/remove-border-images-from-bueno-theme?replies=15#post-467791 -
Hello! I’m trying to use the featured post widget. Is there any way to prevent the featured image from being put automatically in the post? Besides being put in, it’s an odd size. I prefer to insert my images into the post myself and I’m ending up with double images. I’d really like to use the featured post widget, but I just can’t figure this out! Thanks!

@nhutch: Please paste the URL of your blog when asking questions here, or link your username to your blog (as explained in the Sticky 8 Things to Know Before Posting).
You need the CSS upgrade to get rid of the borders once for all, but you can remove them on a post-by-post basis as explained here:
https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/bueno/page/2?replies=103#post-460107@heathercheney: a) Featured images need to be in specific dimensions; b) You can use the widget without images. See here for more:

Hi
Not sure if this has been asked but . . .
Is it possible to find out the colour code (number?) of the grey used that borders each post (using grey theme)? I’m happy to have a pale grey background and if I could type in the code of the border grey so the background matches then I effectively eliminate the borders.Many thanks, have learned heaps here in just 30 minutes.

Sorry if this question has already been asked but is there a way to change the size of the font in my header, i.e. the words “Fancy that … fancy this” on this page:

Thank you in advance for your help!

I love the Bueno theme, love the funky font header and am still trying out its custom widget. BUT, there needs to be some serious love with the blockquote tag in the comment area (absolutely no styling).
By the way, has anyone tried the Typekit Fonts option for their header? Why do I only see references to the paid CSS upgrade?
-
The only blogger I can think of at the moment who has used TypeKit Fonts with the Bueno theme has a CSS upgrade. http://www.alwayswellwithin.com/

I’ve tried it in my tests blog, but I don’t think any of the available fonts is suitable.

@yarnaholic and panos
I’m LOL :D because IMHO any font would be better than Impact. To me the huge Impact blog title font makes the theme look like a cheesy western wanted dead or alive poster. But … SHRUG we all have different tastes and differences are what make blogs interesting. :) -
Agree (see here: https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/bueno/page/2?replies=116#post-460401 ).
