BUG: Eventbrite multi-user theme displaying private events
-
The WordPress Eventbrite multi-user theme is displaying events that are marked as private, including password protected ones! I set up a test event on EB, checked off ‘private’ event and set a password for registrants to use by invitation only. When I try to register on EB, I’m asked for the password, but when I use the link on my WP/EB page, it bypasses the password and allows users to see the details and to register. yikes!
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

No, there is a serious bug after all:
1. When I click the ‘REGISTER’ button for this sample private event on my WP/EB multi-user site (http://israeltruthweekevents.wordpress.com/), there is no prob: the link goes to the page asking for the password.
‘REGISTER’ button link: https://www.eventbrite.ca/e/test-private-applying-dr-kings-lessons-to-win-todays-media-war-tickets-12628918435?ref=wplist
2. However, when I click the text link, it bypasses the password protection and allows the user to see all details and register.

(Sorry for confusion. I checked the registration button and it worked, so thought everything was ok)

Hi Mark,
I’m sorry about this. There have been multiple reports about this and our developers are currently working on a fix. They are trying to get this done by the end of August.
I’ll keep you updated with their efforts.
Thank you!
