Bug in "Export feedback as CSV" ?

“Export feedback as CSV” cuts arbitrary the text, if it is a bit long.

I use the feedback to collects abstracts of max of 300 words each, and after I “Export feedback as CSV”, many texts cut short, and only some not.

    Is it a bug ?

    Hi there,

I just took a look at that export, and I couldn’t find any texts that were cut short. Could you give me an example of one of the feedback submissions that was cut short? That will help me investigate this for you.

For instance, the feedback entry by Lev Kantorovitch on Monday, June 30, 2014 at 19:23 has the Abstract body item cut in the exported feedback CSV spreadsheet as

“The Generalized Langevin Equation (GLE) has been recently”,

    while it is much longer.

Thanks for giving me that example — now I see what you mean. It looks like the export isn’t handling square brackets (like “[1]”) well. I let our team know so they can investigate that issue.

In the meantime, you may need to refer back to the Feedback page in your site’s dashboard to find the full entry for texts that are cut short in that exported file.

    Hi there,

Our team fixed this up for you, so this feedback export should work correctly now. Can you give it another try? Please let me know if you run into any further trouble with it.
