Bug in New Entries!

    Hi guys,
everytime I do a new posting on my blog, a looooong text line is added at the end of the posting, which I definitely did not ad.
At first it was just visible at internet explorer, but now it’s the same with safari as well.
Have you got any idea how I can get rid of that bug?
Please help, it looks awful that way!
    Thanks,
    Christina

Please post this long string of text that you refer to here so we can examine it.

Are you copying and pasting into posts and pages?

It looked like this, just longer:
    Einstellungen
    Einstellungen

    Einstellungen
    §
    1
    2
    3
    4
    5

    9

    Backspace
    Tab
    q
    w
    e
    r
    t

    etc. etc.

When I arrived home, i started my laptop with safari, and couldn’t see, nor remove the text.
After not finding any solution on the internet, i finally solved the problem myself, due to using firefox (log in at wordpress.com).
Then I also could see the implemented text in the edit field and could simply delete it, and… problem gone…
Looks like I can’t do any postings with safari anymore.

    Thanks anyway,
    Christina

ps: i do not copy posts or pages…

I’m glad to know you resolved this. Exactly which version of Safari were you using please? Was it one of the version found here? http://browsehappy.com

on my laptop i’m using safari 5.1.9
but I’m also using an iMac, and i’m sure it’s not the same version (need to check that later).
The last entries on my blog (with the bug) I did with both of them…
so it’s not the latest version of safari…

    Thanks for your reply.

For the sake of completeness. Christina also asked in the german forum. Due to the CSS strings in the sourcecode, all I can say is, it’s the same problem as described in a Apple Support Communities discussion.

Unfortunately there’s no solution mentioned. I reckon it’s either some browser addon, an onscreen keyboard or some other Apple-specific tool that doesn’t work correctly.

    Cheers
