Bug in our dashboard?

    Hi WordPress,

    Is it possible to check whether our blog has a bug in it? When we use the Quick Edit function on a post, the post often gets deleted, the title or the tags vanish as soon as we hit the update button. We then have to start over.

    Hi there,

    Your blog is a part of our larger distributed system, so when you load the Quick Edit screen, it is the same copy that many others load. In all likelihood, that is not the issue. What might be the problem however is it not loading all the way or it interfering with some other page which is already loaded. For example, do you happen to have another WordPress.com page loaded in a different tab? That can cause interference sometimes. Or alternately, are you loading your page through a proxy or behind any sort of major firewall? These can prevent certain javascripts from loading, which may be required for the page to submit correctly.

    Could you please try making sure that your browser is up to date or try loading it on a different browser (you can go to: http://browsehappy.com) and just load up the Quick Edit page. Try posting just a quick post with tags and a title, see if that works. Let’s see if we can narrow down what the issue is!
