Bug in PressRow 0.1 Theme
-
I’m having trouble uploading and applying a different header to my site. Once I upload an image, and crop it, WordPress says the new header image should be up. I refresh my blog page, and the original header is still up. I go back into the header changing menu, and under “This is your header image” is a blank space.
Little help?

Hi there,
Will you provide a link to your blog please? That way we can view it in different browsers and perhaps be better able to help you.Reference: https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic.php?id=16667

http://www.tarmacphilosopher.wordpress.com
It’s a car blog, so pictures of, umm… sheets (?) isn’t exactly provocative of the subject matter.

They’re books, I think ;) Yes, the original header image is still there.
What’s the filesize and extension of the image you’re trying to upload?
-
(1) No wordpress.com blogs have “www” in their urls. The correct url for your blog is http://tarmacphilosopher.wordpress.com
(2) If you create a perfectly sized header that has also been optimized prior to uploading it will not require cropping. Images of exactly 770 x 200 pixels will be used as-is.
(3) The only file types you can upload are found here http://faq.wordpress.com/2006/05/07/what-filetypes-can-i-upload/
Note that bmp is not a supported file type. -
I just uploaded an image using Firefox; worked like a dream. Safari’s just not up to snuff.
Thanks for your help.Sorry about the “www” thing. I keep forgetting it’s no longer necessary.

Safari is problematic http://faq.wordpress.com/2006/05/20/im-using-safari-and-i-have-problems/
